AWARD ”FOR THE MOST FRIENDLY AND ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL PUBLIC PROJECT OF THE REGION II OF UIA”

 

 

Jury of the Award  composed of :
  • Chairman : Vassilis Sgoutas, architect, former UIA president
  • Members:  Fionnuala Rogerson, architect, director WP AFA Region I
  • Erno Kalman, architect, president of the Hungarian Association of Architects MES
  • Serban Sturdza, architect, president of the Romanian Union of Architects UAR
  • Secretary:  Krzysztof Chwalibog, architect, director WP AFA Region II

After having analyzed 12 projects-candidates coming from the 7 countries of the Region II took the following decisions:

  • Honorary mention is given to :

Architects: Gnedovsky S.V.,Gavrilova M.M.,Borsukova O.B., Krylov M.Yu., Zaharov I.S.,

            Technolog: VorobiovA.M., Sculptor: Krasulin A.N.,Structure Eng.: Gnedovsky S.Yu.

For design and realization of friendly and accessible building of Fomenko Theatre inMoscow.

  • Special prize founded by the Hungarian Association of Architects is given to :

Architects: Inara Karklina, Bonia Lasmane, Juris Krizanovskis, Maris Karklins

For design and realization of friendly and accessible building of Ventspils Hospital in Latvia.

  • Special prize founded by the Union of Architects of Russian Federation is given to:

Architects: Skevi Farazi and Yiorgos Hadjichristou

For design and realization of friendly and accessible building of Kalinikio Town Hall on Cyprus.

  • The medal of the award is given to:

Architects:

For design and realization of friendly and accessible new Metro of Athens.

  • The medal of the award is given to:

 Architects: Rudolf Bicek, Vladimir Kacala, Martin Oravec,

 For design and realization of friendly and accessible Meander Park Oravice, Slovakia.

  • The medal of the award is given to :

 Architects : Konior Studio, Barysz-Konior Architects

 For design and realization of friendly and accessible buildings of the Education Centre of the Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland.
